Takin’ A Stand, Ya’ll…

Here’s a call to arms for all you Christians out there. It’s time to fight against satan’s stronghold on our leaders and politicians. Here’s a message from Lisa Clay, a pastor at Bethany Assembly of God here in Adrian.
Hi Friends,

God drew me into His presence to seek Him this morning, and He gave me a strong word for Christians in America. Please read and pray immediately and consistently over the area I have listed below.

I believe the enemy is even now organizing an assault and a persecution against Christ-followers in America. God showed me very clearly that there were “Sanballats, Tobiah’s, and Geshem’s” (from the book of Nehemiah…enemies of God, God’s people, and God’s will for a nation) that were planning assaults on believers and groups of believers.

This is as strong and as clear a word as I have gotten. Please begin to pray immediately, for God also spoke to me that Christian believers, filled with faith and the Holy Spirit, could go on the offensive in prayer and stop this assault from being successful….. ONLY IF WE PRAY. Don’t just think about praying, or pray for 3 minutes. Pray as if your life and the lives of your children depend upon it, for they may.

The Lord also gave me some words from the book of Nehemiah as a PRAYER BATTLE STRATEGY against the forces of hell. Please forward this email to as many believers as you can, and encourage them to pray in harmony with you. Remember, we battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers that use deceived, ignorant people.

1. “Turn the assault back on their own heads,” (4:4) Ask God to boomerang this planned assault.

2. “We prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat” (4:9) Ask God what time of the day or night to commit to praying for this need.

3. “Don’t be afraid. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and daughters, your wives and your homes”

Don’t pray in fear, pray in faith, and pray hard.

4. “Each had his weapon, even when he went for water.” 4:23)

Pray throughout your days, paying attention to the promptings of the Spirit.

5. “Nothing like what you are saying is happening; you are just making it up…” (6:8)

Pray that the lies of the enemy will be uncovered and exposed, and will be unsuccessful.

6. “I realized that God had not sent him” (6:11-12)

“Pray that believers will be discerning and not fooled regarding this assault.

7. “The Israelites gathered together, fasting…they stood in their places and confessed their sins and the wickedness of their fathers…” (9:1-3)

Repent for the sins of American Christians, that we have not always obeyed God, honored Him, Honored His authority, and we have often failed to speak His word to a sinful and dying culture. Ask God to forgive His body, the church, for often rebelling against His Word by listening to His word and deceiving ourselves when we disobey it.

8. “O our God, the great, mighty, and awesome God who keeps his covenant of love, do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes-the hardship that comes upon us…(9:32-35)

Pray that God will be merciful to believers and to His body the church, and answer our prayers quickly to stop this hardship.

9. “And we will bring a tithe…we will not neglect the house of our God” (10:37-39)

Ask God’s forgiveness for cheating Him and stealing from Him in the tithe, which has contributed to His Will not being carried out in American communities, cities, and states. Those who are being used of the enemy could have been Christ-followers if God’s people had been faithful stewards of their tithe.

10. “Remember them, O my God, because they defiled the priestly office and the covenant of the priesthood…so I purified the priests from everything foreign” (11:29-20).

Pray that ministers of the Gospel will repent if they have not preached the Word, and if they have watered down the truth to make it tasty to the masses. Pray that they will obey God’s Word and preach the whole truth to their people, even in the face of persecution and carnal, wicked church attenders. Pray they will be strengthened and filled with courage to do this, even if it means their church will lose people.

I pray you will hear the voice of the Spirit; He will always confirm a word that is from Him.

God bless you richly. May He cover you and protect you!
